Revolv is an augmented reality (AR) application that dynamically visualizes the audio output of vinyl records in real-time. The app projects a circular soundwave graphic originating from the record player's stylus, synchronized with the circular motion of the record. This graphic responds instantaneously to the live audio content, correlating different frequency bands (such as treble, mid, and bass) and their respective volume levels to generate unique colors and movements within the waveforms. As a result, Revolv magnifies the auditory experience of vinyl records by animating their soundscapes with immersive visual representations.
